Itamati

Located on the outskirts of Nayagarh, Itamati is a typical Orissan village in Nayagarh District. It is about 14 km south of Khandapara and 7 km south-east of Balugaon.

Weaving is the main occupation of the villagers. Bansidhar Mahavidyalaya is a prominent educational institution in this area. The ancient temple dedicated to Lord Jagannath in Khandapara can be visited while in Itamati. The temple town of Ranpur is roughly 25 km away.

The nearest important railway station is Khurda Road Junction Railway Station. Biju Patnaik Airport is the closest airport. Nayagarh-Khordha road passes close by.
