Ishuwara Jain Temple




Lying on the top of a hill on the Vindhyachal ranges, Ishuwara Jain Temple is 25 km from Sagar. It is 3 km on the Kachha road from the rail station. Built by Seth Padashah in the 12th century, the temple has three idols of Bhagwan Shantinath, Kunthnath and Arahnath. Bhagwan Chandraprabhu and Neminath are in standing posture. It is also the birth place of Shri Jai kumar (Muni Sudhasagar), the disciple of Acharya Vidyasagar. Dharamshalas are available for tourists.
