Indian White-backed Vulture

Indian White-backed Vulture (Gyps bengalensis) is the most common vulture in the wooded parts of India. An amazing flier like all vultures, its favored habitat is the lines of trees flanking rivers in jungle or cultivated areas, and large trees in inhabited areas. Where they exist, they congregate near slaughterhouses and the like.
