The Indian Pipistrelle (Pipistrellus coromandr) is small-sized mammal. It is arboreal in habit. The dorsal fur is blackish-brown with tips slightly rufescent and the venter a little paler. Tragus is curving forward and bluntly rounded. A small lobe present below the calcar.
The animal can be spotted in the Bhitarkanika Sanctuary and National Park, Orissa.
