Indian Marsh Mongoose

Indian Marsh Mongoose is found in North 24 Parganas and South 24 Parganas and Howrah districts of West Bengal.

It is similar to small Indian Mongoose in size. The mongoose is placed in the list of creatures facing extinction.

They are found in the freshwater wetland areas, marshes, bogs, swamps, and peatland.
