Indian Black Vultures are medium-sized vultures. The bill is heavy and the toes are long. The head is bare and brightly colored, with a large wattle or flap of skin hanging from each side of the face. Adult plumage is mostly black, with conspicuous patches of white on the upper breast. Also known as King Vulture, it is predominantly found in India. Diet consists of carrion, including small dead animals neglected by other vultures.
