Indapur




Indapur is a taluk headquarters of Pune District in Maharashtra. It lies on National Highway 9 and is about 140 km south-east of Pune. Nimbgaon Ketki is 13 km west.

Shetfal Lake forms the prime attraction here. There are many sugar and iron factories in the area. Sugarcane, jowar and wheat are the main crops cultivated here. Mayureshwar Wildlife Sanctuary is a point of interest nearby.

Indapur Bus Station operates buses to Pune and other nearby places. Baramati Railway Station is the nearest rail access. Pune Lohegaon Airport is the nearest airport.
