Imambara Budgam is a holy place for Shiite Muslims of Kashmir. It is situated in the Badgam District
of Jammu and Kashmir
. Built in 1857, it is an octagonal structure featuring five main entrances each of 12 ft width, of which one of the entrances is reserved for women.
Imambara Budgam is a piece of Indo-Iranian architecture and is highly revered among Shia masses.
