Ilkal


Ilkal is a town situated in Bagalkot District. The town has a large temple of Vijayamahanteshaswami and his religious preceptor Gurumahanta Shivayogishwara. On the eastern side of the town lies the monument of Hazarath Syed Murtaza-Sha-Khadri. Ilkal is also renowned for its hand-woven sarees. Ilkal is at a distance of 50 km from Bagalkot.
