Huna Style of Architecture




Huna style of architecture is a contribution of the Huna dynasty. These nomadic rulers invaded the northern parts of India during the decline of the Gupta rule in the 5th century.

This is a special type of temple architecture of India with a dome-shaped structure. These structures are mostly seen in temples in Uttaranchal and some parts of Punjab. Hanol Mahasu Temple and Balani Devi Temple are examples of this architecture.
