Hebbal

Hebbal is a suburb marking the northern end of Bangalore. Locals believe that this place was a large town about a thousand years ago, long before Bangalore city was established.

Hebbal is now witness to a host of development projects, prominent one being the proposed setup of a new international airport in a nearby place called Devanahalli. National Highways 4 and 7 passes through Hebbal.

Hebbal is home to the famous Hebbal Lake. Another significant establishment is the University of Agricultural Sciences situated here.
