Hattu Mata Temple




Hattu Mata Temple is an ancient temple situated on Hattu Peak, about 8 km away from Narkanda village in Shimla District. Here the presiding deity is Hattu Mata. The temple with its calm and pleasant atmosphere draws the attention of pilgrims as well as skiers. The Koteshwar and the Mahamaya temples nearby are also worth visiting. Narkanda located halfway between Shimla (64km) and Rampu, is a popular place for hiking and skiing.

It is well connected to nearby important places by road. Jubbarhatti situated around 75 km away is the closest airport. The nearest railhead is in Chandigarh (177 km).
