Hatimura Temple

Hatimura temple is located at Nagaon District of Assam. The main deity is Mahisamardini. Here the goddess is represented with narrow waist, large breasts, ten hands each holding different weapons. In early times the temple was one of the important centers of the Shakti cult. In olden days human sacrifices were conducted in the temple.
