Harnaut

Harnaut is a prominent town in the Nalanda District of Bihar. Located on National Highway 31, the town is 13 km north of Bihar Sharif and 11 km south of Bakhtiyarpur. Mohana River, a major tributary of Ganges River, passes through this town. Nalanda Archeological Museum, Nalanda University, Swarajpur Baragon Sun Temple, Sun Temple and Stupa Sita III Temple are the tourist destinations near this town. Patna Airport is around 50 km away. Harnaut Railway Station serves this town.
