Harnai is a little temple town located in Ratnagiri District of Maharashtra. Narrow little lanes criss cross through this town. Renowned for its clean beaches, Harnai is an ideal getaway from the hustle and bustle of Mumbai and Pune.

The main attraction of the place is Harnai Beach. Harnai Fort, Panhalekazi, Harihareshwar Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and Shrivardhan are other areas of tourist importance within Harnai.

Harnai can be reached by a 58 km drive from Mangaon on National Highway 17 towards Panaji. State transport buses ply from Mumbai, Pune, Mahad and Murud to Harnai. The nearest railhead is at Khed on the Konkan Railways.
