Hariharnath Temple

Hariharnath Temple is located at Sonepur, which is 25 km north of Patna, in Bihar. It is dedicated to the combined form of Lord Vishnu and Lord Shiva.

There is a belief that this shrine was built by Lord Ram, on his way to Janakpur to rescue Sita. A large number of devotees assemble here on full moon day of Kartik, which falls during October-November.
