Hangarakatta Port lies at latitude 13°27'N and 74°42' E, at the mouth of Sitanadi River at
Hangarkatta in
Udupi District. A regular all weather port, Hangarkatta serves also as a fishing harbor. The port has the facilities of a wharf, wooden jetties, flag mast and a departmental well.
