Gudimallam




Gudimallam is a small hamlet situated just 3 km east of Papanaidupeta, Chittoor District. Included in Kalahasti taluk, this village is one of the flourishing industrial villages in Karnataka.

Major point of attraction here is an ancient temple called Shri Jogulamma Temple. Erected in the middle of the 8th century, this temple has about 28 inscriptions belongs to the Pallava, Bana, Chola and Yadava dynasties. Besides, the village has a small temple famous for a special Shivlinga. The beautiful idol of Surya Deva is an attractive sight. The famous Swarnamukhi River flows through this village.

The airport close to the village is at Tirupati.
