Ground Orchid (Spathoglottis plicata) is a terrestrial annual herb of Orchidaceae family. It has small white flowers and light green leaves with prominent parallel veins. The flowers also come in yellow, peach, pink and magenta shades.
Ground Orchid is grown as beds and borders, and in pots. It is very sensitive to waterlogged conditions, and likes medium shade in warm places. Propagation is by division.
