Grey Jungle Fowl (Gallus Sonneratii) is one of the four species of jungle fowl, native to India. It resembles the domestic chicken. The bird’s plumage differs sharply from that of the other gallinaceans. Its cheeks are bare and red as mumps and two barbs. The feathers of the breast are black with rachis white and fine clear border.
The bird can be seen in Panch National Park, Maharashtra.
