Green Imperial Pigeon




Green Imperial Pigeon (Ducula aenea) is a large peigon of about 45 cm in length. Its head and underparts are white, while the wings, tail and back are metallic green in color. Usually a single white egg is laid. Its flight is fast and direct, with the regular beats and an occasional sharp flick of the wings.

Green Imperial Pigeon can be seen in the Kaziranga National Park, Assam.
