Gray headed Lapwing




Gray headed Lapwing (Vanellus cinereus) is a large bird of about 34 to 37 cm found near freshwater bodies. It has a brownish gray head, neck and upper breast; long bill with a black tip, yellow feet and legs.

Gray headed Lapwing can be seen in the Sajnakhali Bird Sanctuary, West Bengal, and Namdapha National Park, Arunachal Pradesh.
