Govindhgarh is a small town in
Rewa District and is situated near the district's border with
Satna District. It is about 25 km south of
Rewa.
Major attractions include Govindhgarh Fort and Keoti Falls. Chitrakoot, Chachai Falls, and 19th century palaces and ancient temples at Rewa constitute enhancing excursions outside the town.
Nearest airport is at Jabalpur. Rewa Railway Station serves Govindhgarh.
