Gorkhey




Gorkhey is a village that borders the states West Bengal and Sikkim. Located in Darjeeling District, this quaint village presents a charming picture of nature’s splendor at work. Phalut is situated north-east of Gorkhey.

Perched at a height of 2,500 m above sea level, this village is on the Phalut-Molley trekking route. The panoramic view of Mount Kanjenjunga from here is an awe-inspiring experience. Gorkhey Khola, the meeting place of two streams, is situated nearby.

Gorkhey is easily accessible from Darjeeling via Phalut. By foot, Gorkhey is on the Darjeeling-Sandakphu trekking route.
