Goma Hanu




Situated at the border of Leh and Kargil districts, Goma Hanu is a town about 4,181 m above sea level. It is around 212 km from Srinagar, the capital of Jammu and Kashmir.

Goma Hanu is connected by the neighboring towns such as Kanutse (10 km) in the west, Turtok (22 km) in the north, Zagalnakchan (19 km) in the east and Santakhchan (15 km) in the south. It is an ideal base for trekkers and mountaineers on their trail from Mulbekh to the Great Himalayas.

By road, Goma Hanu is accessible from Kargil and Leh. The nearest railhead is Jammu Tawi Railway Station, served by the Northern Railways.
