Golden Bridge




The Golden Bridge is a 125 year old bridge which connects Ankleshwar to Bharuch. It was built in 1881 by the British. Golden bridge helped them to cross the Narmada River for trade and administration in Mumbai. Golden Bridge has been witness to many natural disasters, including floods and earthquakes. Now also this grandiosely tiled, two lane bridge allows traffic between Ankleshwar and Bharuch. There is a railway track adajacent to the bridge.
