Godaan Express




Godaan Express runs between Gorakhpur Junction Railway Station in Uttar Pradesh and Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Railway Station at Mumbai, Maharashtra. The train is named after the famous story ‘Godaan’ by Munshi Premchand, who lived in Gorakhpur. It covers a distance of 1,740 km and the main towns on the way are Azamgarh, Jaunpur, Allahabad, Itarsi and Nasik. Second A/C, third A/C and sleeper class facilities are available.

Train number 5025: Gorakhpur to Lokmanya Tilak, leaves Gorakhpur at 06:30 hrs on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
Train number 5026: Lokmanya Tilak to Gorakhpur, leaves Lokmanya Tilak at 13:20 hrs on Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday.
