Girthi River

Girthi River originates in Pithoragarh District and follows a short course in the extreme north-west of Pithoragarh. It then moves along the Kungribingri range and takes a south-west course, before entering the Garhwal region. The river eventually merges into the Ganges and hence, has been geographically grouped under the rivers of the Ganga system.
