Giri Pradakshina, also known as Konda Chuttu Thirunallu, is an important festival celebrated at
Sri Varaha Lakshminarasimha Temple in
Simhachalam. It falls on the full moon day in the lunar month of Asadha (June). On this occasion, devotees observe fasting and walk clockwise around the Arunachala Hill with utmost devotion. Circumambulation around the hill is to be undertaken after taking bath, on bare foot.
