Gayatri Mantra

Gayatri Mantra is a 24-syllable Vedic mantra and is taken from the Rig Veda. Its meaning is that 'may the almighty God illuminate our intellect to lead us along the righteous path.' Gayatri Mantra inspires wisdom. It is believed that sages selected the words of various Mantras and arranged them in Gayatri. The Gayatri Mantra is also said to create specific power through their utterance.
