Gautameshwarar Temple




Gautameshwarar Temple is at Keeraimandabam, on the Kanchipuram-Uthiramerur road. The presiding deity is God Gautameshwarar. The idol of Lord Shiva, believed to have been worshipped by Sage Gautama, is the chief deity. A holy pipal tree stands in the temple campus.

To reach this place, the nearest railway station is the Arakkonam Railway Station, located to the north-east of Kanchipuram.
