Gangtok Bus Station is situated in East Sikkim District. It is a major bus terminal in Sikkim and is operated by Sikkim Nationalized Transport. Regular buses connect Gangtok with Siliguri, Darjeeling, Kalimpong and Geyzing. Also buses are available to all tourist destinations in the state.
Points of attraction in the city include Rustomji Park , Rumtek Monastery and Phodong Monastery. Hotels, tourist lodges, tourist hostels and tourist cottages provide accommodation in Gangtok.
