Ganga Saptami




Ganga Saptami, also known as Ganga Jayanti, falls on the seventh day or Saptami of the full moon of Baisakhi (April). It is associated with a myth mentioned in Brahmapuran - an ancient Hindu scripture. On this occasion, the devotees worship Ganges River and float garlands across it.
