Gandhawal




Gandhawal is a place of archeological importance situated in Dewas District. There are ancient temples such as the Gandharv Sen temple (11-12th century), a Jain temple with large images of Tirthankar Lyingawat, and the Shitlamata temple with a collection of old sculptures. The Sati stone and some memorial pillars with illegible inscriptions are the other attractions.
