Gandala Pass is situated at an altitude of about 4,960 m in the Leh District of Jammu and Kashmir. The pass is an ideal base for trekking. The Ladakh trek passes through the Gandala Pass which leads to the Markha Valley. Kongmaru Pass and Hemis Gompa are situated nearby. The village of Yurutse is located near the pass.
