Fulkopir Vada

Fulkopir Vada is a local recipe of the Bengalis popular during Durga Puja.

Made from softly cooked cauliflower dipped in relatively thick batter of chickpea flour, baking soda, poppy seeds, chilly powder and salt, this is a common snack. The batter coated cauliflower is deep fried in oil and served hot. Cauliflower is cut into medium sized pieces for this recipe.
