Fried Bombay Duck




A popular fish dish in Mumbai, Fried Bombay Duck is made from a small fish, native to Mumbai area. This fish is known locally as Bombil or Bumallo. The sun-dried Bombay Duck, marinated with turmeric, chilli powder, lemon juice and salt, is deep fried in oil and appears on the table as a crispy deep fried starter or accompaniment to a meal of rice and curry.
