Foot Ball Llily

Foot Ball Lily (Haemanthus multiflorus) is a tropical plant grown up to an altitude of 12 to 18 inches. It belongs to the family Amaryllidaceae.

It blooms only once in a year, and the flowers are seen in white, pink and red. The leaves are smooth and dark green in color and fresh ones appear after flowering. Due to its peculiar round shape, the plant is also called powder puff or globe lily.
