Fenugreek is used in ayurslim, foot care cream, hair oil, protein shampoo for normal hair, and geriforte aqua. The germinating seeds have pyridoxine, cyanocobalamine, calcium pantothenate, biotin and vitamin C. The germinated seeds include a-galactosidase. The young seeds consist of small amounts of low-molecular weight carbohydrates.
The seeds are aromatic, carminative, tonic, and galactagogue. Fenugreek prevents hair fall and promotes hair growth. Choline is supplied by leaves.
Fenugreek is also known as Medhika.
