Facilitation Centre for Industrial Plasma Technologies (FCIPT), established in 1997 carries out research and development in the field of plasma processing technology and magnetic confinement fusion. It is located at
Gandhinagar.
The main objective of the center is to promote the commercial exploitation of IPR (Institute for Plasma Research) plasma technologies through development, incubation, demonstration, manufacturing and transfer. It provides instrumentation laboratories, job shop, material characterization and manufacturing facilities. Various technologies are also available to satisfy the growing demands of the Indian industries.
