Evening Primorse

Evening Primorse is generally a biennial herb, but occasionally flowering in the first year. It is characterized by copiously branched, green to red stem with yellow flowers.

The seed oil contains y-linolenic acid. It is used in cosmetics and as a dietary supplement. The oil is prescribed as a remedy for the treatment of atopic eczema and premenstrual syndrome.
