Erupathettukettu (28 kettu)



Erupathettukettu is a ceremonial ritual for all new born babies in Kerala. It is also known as Noolukettu and Charadukettu. This ceremony is usually performed on the 27th or 28th day of child’s birth. On this day, parents and relatives present new dresses and ornaments to the child in customary way.
