Established in 1994, Empee Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology is located at Anna Nagar in Chennai. It is affiliated to the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Government of Tamil Nadu. This institute is managed by the Empee Educational and Charitable Trust.
Diploma in Hotel Management and Catering Technology (3 years) and short term craft courses are provided. Fully equipped kitchens, food science lab, bakery and confectionery, mock-bar, training restaurants, library, conference rooms and banquet halls are all within the campus. There are separate hostels for boys and girls.
Placements are done through campus interviews. Students can enjoy indoor and outdoor games. Cultural talents are also promoted.
