Elappara




A small settlement, Elappara is in Idukki District, Kerala. It lies around 18 km from Upputhara and 4 km from Vagamon. The place is ideally located on National Highway 220. This picturesque setting is covered by tea plantations. It is famous for the Ulakkayurutty Falls, second only to the Athirappilly Waterfalls in its force. Chinnar is a few kilometers away. The nearby cities and villages include Marayoor, Kanattalloor, Rajakkad, Mattupetty and Pallivasal.
