Dutta Lodge’s Household Ghat

Dutta Lodge’s Household Ghat is attached to the Dutta Lodge at Barabazar area of Chinsurah. This ghat was built by Bankubehari Dutt. It is in Dutta Lodge where Debendranath Tagore, the father of Rabindranath Tagore, lived for years along with his family.

This lodge and the ghat can be accessed from Chinsurah, about 50 km from Kolkata. The nearest railway stations are Chinsurah and Hooghly. Ferry services are also available across the Ganges to reach this place.
