Dumeli is a village situated 18 km from
Phagwara in
Kapurthala District.
Guru Hargobind Sahib, the 6th Sikh guru, has made this village sacred by his blessed visit. A gurdwara, Gurdwara Thamm Sahib Patshahi Chhevin, was built here to preserve the memory of the visit of Guru Sahib. A wooden column, installed by the guru is preserved inside the gurdwara. It also has a college adjacent to it.
