Dod

Situated about 13 km north-east of Jaito in Faridkot District, Dod is a major Sikh site in Punjab. Guru Gobind Singh, the last Sikh Guru, is believed to have halted here in 1705 during his journey through Malva region.

There is a gurdwara, named Gurdwara Dhaulsar Patshahi Chehmi te Dasmi, on the north-western outskirts of Dod. This shrine draws a large number of Sikh devotees. Gurdwara Har Sar Patshahi, the four storied building, is another attraction. This gurdwara has a square sanctum and a lotus shaped dome. A religious fair is held here on 17, 18 and 19th of Phalgun.

Amritsar International Airport is the nearest airport.
