Dhilvan

Dhilvan is a village in Sangrur District of Punjab, 5 km from Tapa and about 25 km from Barnala. This scenic hamlet, a well known pilgrim center for Sikhs, has been sanctified by the visit of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib. According to local tradition, Guru Sahib spent several days in this village. A Sikh shrine called Gurdwara Patshahi Nauvin has been built here memorizing his visit, where inside the main temple complex one can see a separate structure called the Tap Asthan built at the site where Guru Sahib used to meditate.
