Dhanwantharam Oil is a
thaila (medicated oil) in
ayurveda. It is effective for all types of
vata diseases, soothika (post natal) disorders, children's diseases, injuries in
marma (vital parts), and asti bhanga (fracture of bones.) This Thaila is also good for ksheena (weakness), jwara (fever), gulmam (bloating), unmada (psychic disorders), antravrudhi (tumour) and yoni roga (vaginal diseases). It is used externally on both head and body.
