Dhana Lakshmi is one among the
Ashtalakshmis, the eight incarnations of
Goddess Lakshmi. ‘Dhana’ means wealth and hence she is considered as the Goddess of wealth.
According to Hinduism, wealth is not merely the coins and currency, and it is constituted by the Sun and Moon, fire and stars, rains and nature, oceans and mountains, rivers and streams and even the progeny, and the individual’s inner will power, character and virtues. Dhana Lakshmi showers all this wealth in her devotee’s life.
